We already covered Besame Mucho. But we have decided to spice up this theme quite a bit, to make it more “kissy”, more international adding Mexican, Italian, Israelian, French and so on flavours and some rarities found in our crates. Stir the pot slowly and serve it HOT!

@Answers.com : Amparo Ochoa won a contest in her native city, Sinaloa, in 1965 with a song called “Hermosísimo Lucero.” In 1969 she moved to Mexico City to attend the National Music School while still working as an elementary teacher. (BTW Oscar Chavez has a website)

@Avishai Cohen : : Avishai Cohen, born April 20, 1970 in Israel, is a musician who has been declared one of the 100 Most Influential Bass Players of the 20th Century by Bass Player magazine. (phew!!)

@ArtistDirect : The group (Banda Machos )’s breakthrough came after issuing Sangre de Indio, featuring a style known as la quebradita, popularized in Los Angeles’ Latin circuit in the early ’90s.

@Caterina Valente : Caterina is Europe’s answer to Doris Day, Barbra Streisand and Liza Minnelli all rolled into one! (The Spectator, CANADA, 1976); “La piu’ eccezionale show-woman, che lo speccatolo abbia espresso in questi ultimi anni!” (EVA, Italia, 1972)

@Dave Pike Set : Amazingly.. this is the only fan/tribute page to Dave Pike in existence and yet his music continues to inspire thousands of musicians and Djs world wide.

@Spaced Out : : Enoch Light formed Command in 1959 with the specific aim of capitalizing on the emerging market of stereo fanatics. He wanted his recordings to take maximum advantage of left-right channelization without stooping to tricks like “ping-pong” effects.

to be continued… probably
