Blue Moon is a song written in 1934 by Richard Rodgers and Lorenz Hart.

@Wikipedia : The Marcels’ doo-wop version of the song was Billboard Hot 100 number one single April 3, 1961 (three weeks). Rogers reportedly disapproved of this version of the song, but later changed his mind when the recording topped the charts.
